Fengming Jin

I am an associate in the Privacy and Data Protection practice in our Beijing office. I am experienced in data privacy, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and employment law compliance.

I have provided privacy and data protection services to numerous domestic and multinational corporations from Internet technology, finance, consumer, healthcare, energy, aviation, and automobile sectors. I also have extensive experience in advising e-commerce and telecom matters.

I have assisted clients to pass cross-border data transfer security assessments, assisted clients in conducting data protection due diligence and carrying out mitigation measures, drafted and revised clients' compliance documents, and assisted clients in evaluating and improving their internal data compliance systems.

I got my Bachelor of Laws degree from Peking University and obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the United States. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a top data protection team in a leading PRC law firm. I am fluent in English and Mandarin and aspirational in Japanese.
