I am a Counsel in our Intellectual Property Group based in Hong Kong with almost 10 years of experience in advising clients in all sectors on protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including complex cross-border disputes and infringement issues. With a life sciences background, I also regularly advise pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies on regulatory compliance issues and intellectual property-related matters.

My practice focuses on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Hong Kong and Mainland China, especially on cross-border enforcement and civil litigation involving trademarks, counterfeiting, patents, designs and copyright. I have experience advising clients in all sectors particularly in the retail & consumer sector including luxury goods, clothing & accessories, beauty & personal care, food & beverage and electronics. I have also assisted various clients to obtain interlocutory and permanent injunctions before the Hong Kong courts.

Besides contentious work, my practice also includes assisting clients on general and commercial intellectual property matters including representing clients in negotiations of strategic cooperation agreements and complex licensing arrangements, and conducting IP due diligence in merger and acquisition projects. In addition, I regularly advise consumer goods and retail companies on regulatory matters particularly on product advertising and labelling, product liability, and consumer protection laws. I have experience representing clients in the retail & consumer and life sciences sectors in regulatory enforcement actions involving trade descriptions, product safety and labelling, and import / export issues.

With a life sciences education background, I also frequently advise pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies on regulatory matters including market authorisations, medical claims and labelling, interactions with HCPs, as well as intellectual property-related matters including trademark and patent filings and licensing. I have experience advising companies on complex licensing and collaboration agreements involving the manufacturing, R&D, and commercialisation of drugs and technologies.
