Marzena Ewa Adamska

I am an associate in the Commercial and Privacy and Data Protection department in the Madrid office.

I started my professional career in 2020, focusing on the digital law and data protection. My journey started at a national law firm specializing in the financial sector, where I actively participated in regulatory adaptation projects, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), as well as audits and due diligence processes, among others. These experiences provided me with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory and technological challenges that organizations face today.

I also had the privilege of being part of data protection officer teams at various organizations, which allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sector's needs and particularities. This role helped me develop a strategic vision for implementing compliance and security measures tailored to each organization's specific characteristics.

Joining Bird & Bird has given me the opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary team with an international presence, allowing me to adopt a global perspective in advising clients across key sectors such as Technology and Communications, Retail, and Insurance, among others. This experience enables me to offer specialized services, tailored to the specific needs and processes of each client, with an innovative approach focused on regulatory compliance in a digital and globalized environment.
