Stage of Implementation 

On 4 November 2024, the Justice Committee of Spain approved the parliamentary withdrawal of the class action bill. Therefore, Spain has taken a step backwards in the transposition of the Directive and, at present, there is no draft law for its transposition.

Extent to which existing law will require change

Minor changes as the bill was still in draft at the time of withdrawal.
