International law firm Bird & Bird announces two Counsel promotions in the Nordic Corporate group. Congratulations to new Counsels Johanna Wärnberg in Sweden and Iina-Mari Supperi in Finland.
The Nordic promotions are effective from 1 May 2018 and are part of the firm-wide promotions round where a total of 9 Partners, 1 Senior Counsel and 14 Counsels were announced.

Specialising in M&A, Johanna Wärnberg has acquired deep knowledge and experience of Nordic and international transactions, advising private equity and industrial clients in acquisitions and sales as well as representing major Nordic companies in restructuring their businesses. Through her deep involvement in private equity transactions, Johanna has solid knowledge and experience from related management incentive programs and structuring deals. In addition to Swedish, she also speaks fluent Finnish.
Iina-Mari Supperi is a lawyer in the Nordic Corporate group based in Helsinki. She specialises in corporate matters and advises clients on corporate transactions and arrangements, securities markets and financial regulations, corporate restructuring and other contractual issues. Additionally, Iina-Mari advises on commercial arrangements. Iina-Mari’s work with us includes a one-year full-time secondment as a legal counsel for a stock exchange operator. She has served as a member of the board in a number of Finnish associations relating to the legal profession.
