International law firm Bird & Bird advises Berenberg and Grant Thornton in connection with the placing and proposed admission to trading on AIM of The Pebble Group plc, a provider of products, services and technology to the global promotional products industry.
Admission is due to take place on Thursday 5 December and the placing will raise gross proceeds of approximately £135 million for the company and its selling shareholders which include the private equity house Elysian Capital. The team at Bird & Bird have advised Berenberg and Grant Thornton as broker and NOMAD respectively for The Pebble Group.
This is the largest AIM IPO of the year in terms of funds raised and only the second new listing on AIM in the current quarter. It is also the largest transaction in London the equity capital markets team at Bird & Bird have advised on this year. The work was carried out by the London equity capital markets team, led by partner Adam Carling together with partner Clive Hopewell and associates Freddie Spearman, Sharon O'Donnell and Laura Board (Tax).
