In mid-October 2022, Bird & Bird’s Warsaw office moved to a new address. Bird & Bird can now be found in the Central Point building in downtown Warsaw, at the intersection of the main thoroughfares, ul. Marszałkowska and ul. Świętokrzyska. The law firm’s new office now occupies two and a half floors – Floors 19 and 18, and one half of Floor 17 – with a total surface area of more than 2.5k sq. m.
– The dynamic growth of the Polish office and the constant increase in the number of staff meant that we needed new office space in Warsaw. In 2008, when the law firm opened its offices in Poland, our team consisted of just a few people. Now, we employ almost 170, including nearly 100 lawyers. The choice of Central Point is also a reflection of our values that translate into opting for cutting-edge technological solutions while maintaining the highest environmental standards. – said SÅ‚awomir Szepietowski, Managing Partner of Bird & Bird in Poland.
Owing to its location in the very heart of the city, the office offers easy access for foreign visitors, local clients, and staff. Its proximity to the main railway station and its location at the junction of the two metro lines with easy access to numerous tram stops and bicycle paths make it very convenient for those travelling to the office. The new space also fully reflects the culture and work style at Bird & Bird. Conference rooms in the client space have been equipped with state-of-the-art tools for holding remote and hybrid meetings. The back office has been designed using a modular office layout for increased working comfort. The office also has a relaxation area and a separate space for entertainment and staff meetings.
Central Point is a key project of Immobel, a Belgian developer. In the process of searching for our new office space and negotiating the terms of lease, and during fit-out works, Bird & Bird received comprehensive assistance from Savills. Workplace, a research and design studio, was responsible for the office layout design.
