About Me
My deep understanding of Japanese businesses and markets outside Japan helps our Japanese clients make their business expansion and investment successful.
As the lead of Global Japan Business Development based in our Hong Kong office, I lead initiatives to support Japanese companies in their international ventures. Collaborating with our local offices and consulting arm, OXYGY, I provide comprehensive business insights across multiple markets where Japanese companies are considering investments. Additionally,I work closely with local government bodies to attract Japanese investors, organizing training sessions, seminars, and delegations in partnership with organizations such as JETRO and various Japanese Chambers of Commerce. I am an active member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in London, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Hong Kong.
I joined Bird & Bird in 2017 from one of the magic circle law firms in Tokyo.
