As an associate in our German Finance & Financial Regulation Group based in Frankfurt, I advise national and international clients on finance and regulatory matters.
In my daily work I focus on advising our clients on corporate, acquisition and project finance, with particular expertise in LMA-based and other structured financings, as well as on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency law.
I assist our clients across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, payment services, ecommerce, insurance, fintech, insurtech and regtech, in the development and implementation of new business models, especially in relation to regulatory issues. I advise on all matters in relation to regulated brokering (such as insurance, real estate or credit brokering) and AML/CTF law.
My work involves advising incumbents as well as start-ups, particularly in the technology sector, as well as advising on digitalization projects often including fintech.
During my legal clerkship at the District Court of Mainz, I gained experience at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in Bonn, the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer, and worked in our offices in Frankfurt.
